It’s lavender season! We dropped four pounds off at 3rd and Johnson Market in Bay City and we have a pound drying. We also have a few more pounds to harvest to take to the Downtown Saginaw Farmer’s Market this Saturday.
Cutting and drying lavender is one of the best things about early summer. The garlic harvest comes close and making basil pesto is another highlight but lavender harvesting is really a pleasant task. So if you need some fresh lavender or you’d like some dried, stop by 3rd and Johnson or the Saginaw Farmer’s Market this weekend.
