Dry Beans are coming on!

Remember this spring when we planted those dry beans we got at the seed swap?

We’ve been guarding them from the deer and they have been very productive.  They will need to dry and cure and we will plant a couple of rows of dry beans next year.  We use a lot of dried beans so it makes sense to grow them.

I know they have to wait to cure and dry but I was so excited to see what they were doing that yes, I picked a couple.  And they are gorgeous!  I can’t say anything about the taste since I’m not cooking 4 beans but they are really really pretty and I can’t wait for next year’s harvest.
